Domestic Drain Surveys

Do you need a domestic CCTV drain survey at your home? Contact The Drain Survey Company Ltd. We cover all your domestic drainage needs, from performing high-quality CCTV drain reports to all necessary remedial works to ensure the system remains in good condition.

CCTV Drain Survey Specialists

With over 30 years of experience, we’re highly trained and experienced in performing domestic CCTV drain surveys, whether you need an up to date report for a house sale or you’ve detected an issue with your drains requiring further investigation.

When you call us out to your property, we’ll always assess whether a CCTV drain survey is required. We can often diagnose blockages without additional camera work, but we would highly recommend a CCTV survey if we think there could be a defect within the system.

If any remedial works are required to rectify issues found, our specialist team can arrange a time to carry these out as soon as possible.

Why Do You Need a Domestic Drain Survey?

  • Recurring blockages
  • Bad odours within a property
  • Slow draining toilets
  • Rodent activity
  • Property sales (e.g. home buyer reports)
  • Build-over agreements (for Thames Water and other water boards)

Get Fast Results in Just 24 Hours

From recurring blockages to unpleasant drain odours, customers can usually tell their drains are blocked. A CCTV drain survey can identify defective sections in the drain system, highlighting issues such as cracks, fractures, open joints, broken parts, holes in pipes, nesting areas for rodents, fat build-ups, scale build-ups, root ingress and more.

How It Works

GET IN TOUCH

When you contact our team, we’re happy to provide a free competitive quotation. We’ll arrange a convenient time to visit your home, attending all surveys with the necessary equipment to get the survey completed.

SITE VISIT & CCTV DRAIN SURVEY COMPLETION

Your survey will take around 1.5 to 2 hours to complete. If we find a blockage during the survey, we carry high-pressure water jets onboard our vans to unblock the drain before continuing with the survey. We may also need to remove any scale or fat present if it’s preventing us from gaining high-quality camera images. After job completion, you should receive your report within 24 hours. REMEDIAL WORKS

Once we’ve identified the source of the problem and any defects in the drain system detailed in your report, we work closely with you to plan all remedial works required, providing clear advice about the time and cost involved. This covers solutions such as structural drain lining, structural patch repairs, excavation and renewal, descaling using specialist equipment and drain jetting.
